Because if we shortened everything in life to make it faster, there would be a lot of unhappy women in the world.

Well, now, that would be fine, excepting a lot of people call their dads or granddads pops already, so the name is already taken. Instead of calling them lollipops, call them suckers, cause that's what you do to them, lol.

Maybe vecause there are other words with using pop
Like pop up blocker, pop goes the weasel, ect. =)
