I get creative. I'll tell you some of my past projects.
THE LOAD OF DIRTY LAUNDRY:
One year I cut the bottom out of an old laundry basket, put a few raggedy old clothes in it all marked up to look dirty and tied a few "dirty" socks in my hair.
THE RUBBER TREE:
This one is fun and is always a hit. Wear a green sweater and brown pants as to resemble a tree. pin condoms in various places on the sweater. In or out of the wrapper, which ever you prefer. I would say in the wrapper if there will be children in your presence. Put twigs and/or leaves in your hair and you're good to go.
THE CEREAL KILLER:
Wear any outfit you wish. Pin the boxes from single serving cereals on your shirt, put a little fake blood if you want on the clothes and/or skin. Carry a "bloody" knife around with you.
THE THUG:
Wear a white t shirt or under shirt, a pair of boxer shorts, Loose pants pulled below your butt, a little bling or fake bling, (optional) a bandanna tied around your head and a backwards baseball cap. I did this for my halloween party today and I even went as far as drawing in a mustache and goatee. Everyone loved it.
THE MISSING CHILD ON THE MILK CARTON:
This one takes a bit of time to do. Take a box and shape it into a milk carton, this requires cutting, stapling and folding of the cardboard. Cut a face sized hole in one side. Paint it white or cover with white fabric. Paint or use marker to put the word MILK and various things on the carton, under the hole in the side, put the words MISSING, and put a few things like age, last seen in, last seen with, reward, etc. That was fun.
