Yes. There is a family of marine gastropods (snails) called Ovulidae, which are commonly called egg shells. They are closely related to cowrie shells. Here's a picture of the largest species, Ovula ovum:

P.S.... Addendum ... I just saw the picture provided by the next poster after me (gggjoob). That picture actually shows the same species as my picture. My picture just shows the empty shell. The other picture is the living animal, with its mantle covering its shell.

there must be!! thanks for arousing my curiosity! check out this diver's page. there is a picture of something that he has labelled as "eggshell". must be like an anemone. is it plant? is it animal? i think i'll dress up like one for halloween!
