How ridiculous was it that Darrent Williams never recieved any help from the safety or linebackers yesterday? Manning literally picked on Williams by throwing his way every time in each of the Colts last 3 drives. Did the Broncos coaching staff not recognize this? How could you not see that Manning was completely exploiting the lack of ability of Williams.

Well Manning wasn't going to throw in Champs way because he is the best corner in the league. Darrent Williams does have talent. Hes just young and Manning knows it. Darrent Williams was a break-out star for Denver last year. I think he does a pretty good job. This game was simply a battle of wills. They are both really good teams. The last team that touched the ball was going to win. I was a little disappointed that they lost because Denver is my favorite team. But it wasn't as difficult seeing the broncos lose to the Colts. I really respect Peyton Manning and think hes a real class act.... IF my little football heart didn't already belong to Denver than I would be a Colts fan...

It was obvious Denvers plan to leave Williams and Bailey 1-on-1 with Wayne and Harrison. Bailey did his job on Harrison, you heard very little from him. The few times I did see the LB's coming out to cover that out area that Wayne caught most of those balls on, that is when they were hitting the TE or RB over the middle. I am a Denver fan but you had to admire the timing that Manning and those WRs have together. You can tell they've been together for awhile. I think more of the problem was the Denver front 4 got NO pressure on Manning, he had forever it seemed on some plays to look off his 1st WR, the 2nd, and end up going to the third. The lack of pressure was more of a factor. Even a great DB can only cover a guy for so long.

Manning is just that good, but the Broncos should have noticed and brought the safety over to help, if they did Manning probably would have gone to the otherside.

i think of the Colts will take this one. even although Denver have between the ideal defenses interior the league, I nevertheless see the Colts rolling. Denver has struggled against larger communities this season, and that i think of they are going to against the Colts to boot. score: Colts 29 - Denver 23

After reading (and rating) the above answers, I'd say, "Advantage, Manning".

Sorry about that.
