Can't get drywood at where I live..any other ways to start a fire on the beach using other fuel?

scratch up a 14 inch circle in the sand,slowly pour a cup of gas over the area.stir it in,place wet wood in teepee shape over the spot. using a stick,poke it into the wet sand,lite it then touch the wet sand.it will lite like an oven burner,no flash or eyebrow burner fire ball.

Being a former scout I can answer this. Find moss or fallen debris. Old fruit that has dried out, black moss, and gray moss if it is older. They are good tinder and then you put your heavier wood which may be fresh, but it will have the heat the burn it.
