Just read about this in the local paper..seems this couple was into real estate. They would go around looking for empty houses. This one old guy had left his home, he was recovering from an illness and was staying in a rest home so the couple filed a quit claim deed in his name which enabled them to take control of the property. Next they came and started taking all of his belongings including his car. When the neighbors asked what they were doing they told everyone they were the new owners.
The police finally caught them and the old guy got his house back.

Well, depends on the context that you are asking.
Young people commit fraud everytime they go to a bar and misrepresent themselves to a member of the opposite sex.
People who owe legitimate credit card and other debts often committ fraud, at least in principle by claiming bankruptcy instead of trying to pay off their debts by cutting their expenses.

I would bet it is identity or credit card fraud of some type. Nowadays just about everyone at one point or another has their identity stolen.
Although I might put all my ex-girlfriends at the top of the fraud list too.

Apparently, lottery fraud (if you've been following the Ontario Lottery scandal... store clerks tell you that you have one ten bucks but have actually won the jackpot, they give you $10 and keep the ticket for themselves, they get their family / friend to claim the prize later).
Next to that, credit card fraud.... I've had it done a few time to me (fortunately, it's always insured!).

Whoa!!!! Good question.
The easiest type of fraud to commit is Voter Fraud.
Dead people vote Democrat in alphabetical order by the thousands every election.
Illegals vote Democrat. The Democrat Party has hundreds of thousands of illegals registered to vote on Nov 7.
This fraud will be committed, as it is every election. AND NO ONE WILL SAY A WORD.

When a street person asks you for cash because he says he's hungry and wants to buy something to eat. Then, he takes the money and buys something to drink (alcohol).
The only way you can avoid being scammed is to INSIST that the only way you will give him the money is if he ASSURES YOU that he WILL get something to drink!
Then, give him the cash and you save face.
You BOTH won!!
