How old do you think is Too Old?

I've had to go the last few years because my son will use the excuse that he's too old ( he was only 12). I know that his Real Reason is because he didnt have a friend to go with. So low and Behold I wound up going dressing up ( at 40 yrs old lol) to get him to go. and of course he wound up enjoying it. Now that he's met some new friends he hasn't used the Too Old excuse anymore.

and No I didnt ask for candy! lol

Normally I would say, yes there is an age limit. But, in your case, I think what you did was awesome!! How great that you made your son feel comfortable and he was able to enjoy--I'm glad he's made some new friends!
Kudos to you!!

I'm just like you...but a mom, and I did the same thing last year, no problem...but I DID ask for...and got candy!! LOL!!
There's also this 70 year old man, a retired architect and widower who lives alone nearby who goes around every year dressed in the same old cowboy rodeo outfit, trick or treating door to door. He just shuffles up and knocks, looks at down his alligator boots and wheezes "trickertreat ya'll". We all feel sorry for him and give him extras, but he still creeps out most of the kids pretty badly. So..I guess there IS no age limit...ya'll!!

you're by no potential to old to pass trick or treating. Im going to pass each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days till i die. in case you dont pass wheres the exciting in it.while somebody says halloween the 1st element i think of of is costumes and trick or treating.

I say it depends on the area. In our neighborhood, anyone over 10 is too old. But a few miles away, there is a beautiful neighborhood referred to as the fab 40's (lots of gorgess, old homes) and everyone does it there.
