If a period is expected somewhere during this time, and it happens during school, what should a girl do? What should the girl do if she is too afraid and embarrassed to ask a teacher, friend, or adult woman or girl to help? How does the girl deal with it?

During puberty, girls' breasts become larger. When should a girl wear a bra? How can she adapt to it if she feels uncomfortable to wear it? Thinking wearing one is too embrassed at school to wear it?

What if she does ask the teacher but she doesn't know what to say without completly being embrassed in class?

If you think you're going to get your period at a particular time, or a particular day, just wear a pad or tampon just in case. That way, there'll be no accidents.

As for the bra, there's nothing embarrassing about first wearing a bra, and you can get some really nice training bras that you won't even know you're wearing, and nobody else will either.

God luck.

Well, you could be prepared and have your mom buy some pads and keep one or two in your purse. That way, you don't have to ask anybody, you will just be prepared.

As far as wearing a bra goes, as soon as your breasts start to fill out, you need a bra. It shouldn't be too uncomfortable once you get used to it. Just try some on at the store and get one that isn't too tight and is adjustable. They will smooth you out and actually make your shirts fit a little better.

Don't be embarrassed about becoming a woman. All girls go through it, and you will be fine.

You should talk to your mom or dad about it. You can also bring it up to your closest friend. She may be wondering the same things as you, and is also afraid to ask!

A girl should wear a bra as soon as her breasts start to grow- it adds support and, speaking from personal experience, actually makes a girl feel more covered-up and secure.

If a girl has not had her first period, but is at the age where she may start, she should carry extra underwear and pads in her schoolbag. If she has started and is expecting her period to come back again soon it wouldn't hurt to carry pads and wear a pantyliner, just in case.

First, always carry extra pads/tampons in your book bag. And possibly an extra pair of undies. You could keep them in your locker or your bookbag.

Second, I have a friend whose sister started wearing a training bra in 2nd grade. Heck that friend was wearing a real bra in 3rd grade. It just depends on how you develope. adjusting to your first bra is difficult, but you will become use to it eventually.
