Hmmm in both cases I love the old stuff. The first three Star Wars movies and the original Star Trek TV series with Kirk. Everything else just didn't seem to live up to the glory days.

Been a trekkie since the early 70's--but mainly original series, some of the Next Generation is good; first in line at premiere of Return of the Jedi, saw original Star Wars 13 times in the theatre, not as hot on the new SW films because Anakin irritates me. After Babylon 5 came along they both paled just a bit, although I still enjoy them!

Star wars. There is something about the very first one that seemed so real. Star Trek is too sterile and phony.

I like both, except I'm picky about Star Trek. I only like the original series and TNG. Voyager and DS9 just didn't do it for me. I also wasn't a big fan of the TNG movies....
