1-Paper snow flakes covered with glitter hang them from the ceiling with gold paper clips and gold metallic thread.
2-snow globes from empty baby food jars. Find little winter figurines from a party of craft store, glue it to the top with ceramic or cement glue; fill the jar with water, add glitter screw on top (make sure it is dry), trim top with a ribbon and turn upside down.
3-Make a wreath with a metal hanger, bend hanger into a circle, use white kitchen trash bags cut them into 1 inch strips about 3 to 4 inches long and tie them on the hanger until it is fluffy, trim the strips for an even look, wrap gold thread or red yarn around the hook part until it is completely covered and tie a bow around the base of the hook. (this takes a lot of time but it looks real nice when finished).
Happy Crafting :-)

I enjoy cross stitching this time of year, esp. under a blanket by a fire. You have so many options to choose from if you buy a kit. Christmas designs are especially popular in cross stitching. You can make anything from a card or an ornament to a small, medium, or large picture. Any kit that I've ever used comes with everything you need, including instructions.
One other suggestion is something I'm about to do myself. All of this stuff can be found at stores like Hobby Lobby or Michael's. Go buy some of the Christmas ornaments that are available for the mini Christmas trees (snowflakes, presents, etc.). You'll want to get ornaments that have a small hole at the top that you can attach them with. Then, go to the jewelry section and buy some fish wire earring findings. You can buy them by the pair or with 8, 12, or 36 in one package. You'll need a pair of small needle nose pliers. The fish wire earrings will open up on the bottom. Open that up, and attach your little ornament, and make a pair of earrings either for yourself or to give as a Christmas present.
Good luck!!

One project that will keep you busy for a month or so is making your own Christmas or holiday cards. Papercrafts are a relatively inexpensive craft. You can make cards using plain white cardstock from the office supply store and embellish with colored cardstock, scrapbook papers ( Holiday themed paper is available at craft and scrapbooking stores right now ) stickers, glitter, buttons and anything your imagination can conceive. After the holidays you can begin designing and making Valentines, birthday cards,Easter cards and Mother and Father's day cards. Once you make your first card you may become hooked but since paper won't cost a fortune, it is a good hobby to get hooked on.

Paper plates, glue, scissors (counting on age team), colored tissue paper: decrease out the middle of the paper plates, bobbing up a wreath. decrease or tear the tissue paper into small bits, not something smaller than one million" x one million", and glue into place. you are able to glue a loop of ribbon on the decrease back for a hanger, upload glitter to the front. a extraordinarily spring wreath. Macaroni paintings is often time-honored. Chalk paper. i'm not extremely effective of the thank you to do it, even though it takes water with a layer of coloured chalk airborne dirt and dust on suitable and laying the paper right down to %. up the chalk. Marble portray - in an previous baking pan (steel works great), lay down the paper, upload a pair dots of diverse colored paint, one or 2 marbles. Tilt the pan to make the marbles roll around into and out of the paint, bobbing up paintings. Decoupage some thing with colored/revealed napkins, tissue papers, magazine photographs, etc. My daughter's daycare commonly has the infants make their own puzzles. there's a letter of the week. the infants decrease out photographs from magazines of things commencing with that letter (you'll be able to desire to do colours, numbers, etc). Glue the decrease outs down and as quickly as dry, decrease into puzzle products. She loves it and we've a team! (The daycare worker likes it by way of fact it takes them a whilst to do, fills assorted time!) Hopskotch. i will't believe there's a era of little women obtainable that don't be attentive to the thank you to play it! I taught my daughter final 12 months (age 4 then) and he or she taught her pals at college this 12 months - only another female had performed it in the previous. I wish I had greater. that's what i will think of of appropriate now, without delving into each and every of the coloring techniques! there are assorted decrease and glue initiatives my daughter does that are only so lovable - like Father's Day - the cardboard had picutres of Dads and baby(s) from magazines/newspapers and a peanut glued to the front. interior it suggested - Dad, i'm nuts approximately you! He nevertheless has it. just about 3 years later. solid success!
