This year we got about 100 or more and we gave out all types of candies. We even gave out these coupons for a free meal at Bobs Big Boys.

If the weather's warm, then probably upwards of 50 or so.
I usually give out a small handful at the beginning (when the small children are about) and then work my way down to the end. If there's still a lot left, those that come by for the rest of everyone's stash (AKA: high schoolers) get it.
Most of the time it's just lollipops and cheap chocolate candy.

I don't get a lot of trick or treaters, though there are tons of kids in my neighborhood...they all hit the Trunk or Treat the LDS church does--and I'm left with a ton of Kit Kats (darn...LOL!)
