in april 2004,he was driving his girlfriend to work when he saw 2 men trying to hold a woman as they were raping her, he jumped from his car and grabbed both men off of her and started fighting with them. as he freed the woman he felt a burning sensation in his neck, he thought it was from a punch, however he learned he had been shot 3 times in the neck. he now has a steel plate and 2 stainless steel screws wher his c-5,6,&7 vertabre were. he had to hold off 2005 hardcore homecoming cause of it.

He was shot three times in the neck after foiling an attempted rape on a girl from a group of guys while he was driving with his girlfriend. He is semi-retired due to the severity of his neck injury but still occasionally wrestles in indy circuits every once in a while. The former Airborne Ranger is a hero and it is depressing that such a promising career wasn't treated correctly in the WWE or the WCW (he was VERY underrated) and cut so short. I hope the best for him and pray that if there is any way he can get back into the WWE without hurting himself than I would be happy because EVERYBODY on the Radicals were great! I hope that answers your question.

You know that's one question that seems hard to answer because from what I know, no one really knows. I found this on his wikipedia page, now I know wikipedia can be edited by anyone and this may not be true but this is just what I've found. In November 2009, The Wrestling Observer newsletter reported that Satullo has been found alive and well. In June 2009, he married a woman named Lisa Marie Kuhlemeier and they reside together in Albert Lea, Minnesota with her two children. Satullo is claiming to be completely sober and working at Larson Manufacturing storm door company, but didn't work there long. He no longer converses with anyone in wrestling and it is unknown if his ex-wives and children are aware of his new life.

, Satullo was shot three times in the neck with a .25 caliber handgun while foiling an attempted rape, suffering severe damage to his C-5, C-6, and C-7 vertebrae. Satullo only learned of this after he visited a physician and complained of burning sensations in his neck, originally attributing the impact to a punch from behind. After having steel plates and screws inserted into his neck, Satullo returned to the ring on September 17, 2004, and continued to receive epidural treatment. Since then, Satullo has continued to make sporadic appearances on the independent circuit but has gone into partial retirement due to the severity of his neck injury.
