Usually there is a longer waiting period to resume sex, since you're still healing. I would check in with your doc to see what's going on.

i will not judge you and neither should anyone else.they should have given you after care instructions at the clinic.usually they tell you not to have sex for about 6 weeks.they also give you medication for infections, healing your cervix, and to slow down the bleeding.do yourself a favor if they did not provide you with any of these things at the clinic please go to the hospital you may have an infection or something else going on.and also for the future please get on some type of birth control i realize alot of women get pregnant on the pill but there are other alternatives like the shot or even and iud implant so also consider these things.good luck-cookie

After an aspiration or a D&C it takes at least a month before your period gets back to normal. Talk to your doctor about it. In the off-chance your uterus was not completely emptied during the procedure, that will cause abnormal bleeding.

The person who murdered your baby for you, who calls themselves a "doctor" should have given you some discharge information telling you what to expect, when things are out of the ordinary and require medical attention, and when you could resume your "active, all be it, irresponsible, sex life." If you have no other instructions, it is usual to treat your body as if you just had a baby, because, indeed, you did. A dead one. Your body doesn't know the difference in whether your baby lived, died, or was murdered. In that case, you should wait 4 to 6 weeks to have sex. Please do not use abortion as birth control in the future.
See aborted babies at: http://www.priestsforlife.org/images/index.htm
Ahem...truly, I do not mean to judge. It is not my place. I hurt for your baby and I believe one day you will as well. I do not know the reason for your choice to kill him or her, but none is good enough in my opinion. God can forgive you. And, he will, if you ask. Realize that you have a baby in heaven at this very moment. He or she wishes for you to ask God's forgiveness so you can be reunited someday.
There is also a resource you or others may wish to investigate: http://www.safehavenministries.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000229.html You can chat with other people who have made this decision and are seeking healing. Or this newsletter, directed toward healing: http://www.priestsforlife.org/postabortion/rachel/v1n01.pdf#search='rachels%20vineyard'
Peace be with you!
BTW, if anyone reading this would rather not kill their baby, but feels overwhelmed by pregnancy, please contact ANY Catholic Church. They WILL help you.

I am not a doctor or a nurse but just wanted to say you will have had your reasons for aborting and no one can judge you as they haven't walked in your shoes. You've been through a difficult time and made a difficult decision.
Please don't let some of the comments made on Y.Answers hurt you.

Let me get this straight.... You had an abortion SIX days ago and you're having sex again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But you're right... I shouldn't judge because that's God's job. And you're right about something else too... You DO need help.
Being that you're probably hemmoraging internally I listed some sites that might explain what's happening to your body. There's no reason for yet ANOTHER person to die because of your horrible choice.

Don't have sex is the only advice I can give. I'm really sorry. I will pray for you and your dead baby. May God have mercy on you.
