british gas remote thermostat (rc5)does any one know were i can download booklet gas board did not leave one by the time they sent one i will have froze my b---S off thanks

Glowworm is only the manufacturer of the boiler, the other componants will be made by others. The gas board like most other central heating installers will use many different componants to suit the individual situation eg some may have a Potterton Boiler with Myson Radiators and a Honeywell programmer.

Therefore there is not a standard manuel for your system. I f you have just had it fitted I am sure they will send someone to show you how to work it.

Not sure what the RC5 is like but if digital then press the + button and the temp. will increase a flame is displayed when the thermostat is calling for heat.and - button to turn it off.If its a programmable thermostat then use it as a manual control and wait for the manual to arrive.
If the unit has a clock and two thermostats on then the clock has 3 settings a sun , auto, and a moon. the tappets on the clock select the thermostat to be used tappets out for the sun (day) thermostat and tappets in for the moon (night) thermostat. turn the sun thermostat to 22' and the moon thermostat to 10' or lower. then set the tappets on the clock to the times you require the heating to come on and off. For manual override put the clock selector to the sun and turn that thermostat up to warm your butt then turn it down when you retire..
