It can cause liver and kidney failure, not to mention death. Sure it pays well, but it can also cause the woman to be infertile after words. Is the loss of a kidney or your liver or your life worth it?

The dangers involved in egg harvesting far outweigh the possible monetary benefits, for the donor at least. It is nowhere NEAR as risky as it used to be; however, it is still not without its risks, not to mention it is a very painful and invasive procedure. The chances of infertility post extraction are minimal though, unless of course you only have one working ovary in the first place.
The other issue with selling eggs is that buyers are choosy, as they should be, and the fact that so very few eggs can be harvested at a time means that there is a possibility for a person to see little or no profit, if that is the main aim.
If you are having your eggs harvested for yourself or for someone else, specifically, and there are a surplus of eggs, it would seem a reasonable option to sell those that are extra, but then you run the risk of no possible buyers since it is generally practiced that eggs are not frozen for storage until they have been fertilized.
A quick, easy way to make money it is NOT; but I suppose it would be preferable to trying to sell, say... a kidney.

Being an egg donor is a personal decision each woman needs to make. Besides the monetary gain for the donor, you help a couple have a child they wouldn't be able to have. But to be a donor is not without risks.
Every year, thousands of babies are born with the help of egg donations to women who, for a variety of reasons, cannot become pregnant using their own eggs.
About one in ten women will experience mild ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome (OHSS), a condition in which the hormone injections upset the body's fluid balance. Mild OHSS causes abdominal pain, diarrhea, and swelling. Approximately 1% of women will end up in the hospital with severe OHSS, which can cause kidney failure, fluid build-up in the lungs, and shock. Occasionally, OHSS can cause permanent infertility or death. Even if no immediate problems are experienced, doctors don't know much about the long-term consequences of the hormone treatment, and some research has suggested that egg donors may have an increased risk of ovarian cancer.
There is a long tedious process the donor has to endure & is asked many personal questions. So, before you consider this option check out this site below.
Hope this helps. :)

It creeps me out in the same way sperm donorship does. Personally, I can't help but feel that even if you're just a donor, you're halfway responsible for bringing a living person into the world, strings attached or not. It seems like that's kind of a huge weight to carry for ANY amount of money.
I'm not a religious person; but that particular subject is a weird one for me. I would never want my husband to donate sperm, and I would never want to donate eggs. I would always wonder if my egg brought life into the world. Even if someone paid me ten thousand dollars, I would still feel strange about it no matter how poor I was.

If you're going to sell it as a help to someone who needs it --it's fine
But if you're selling it to make a living -better stop it is dangerous for your health.
In my opinion, this kind of thing shouldn't be advertised
