In the final scene Gretchen comes up on her bike and asks the little neighbor boy what happened. He says his neighbor died. When she asks what happened his response is completely incomprehensible to me! I've replayed it a dozen times and I STILL can't figure out what this kid is saying. Anyone have a clue?

Little boy:Horrible accident.My neighbor...got killed.
Gretchen:What happend?
Little boy:Got smooshed by a jet engine.
They are putting Donnie into a ambulance...
Gretchen:What was his name?
Little boy:Donnie.Donnie Darko.I feel bad for his family.
Gretchen:Yeah.
Gretchen and Donnie's mother look at each other...
Little boy:Did u know him?
Gretchen:No.
Gretchen waves at Donnie's mother...
Radio in a back...
Police radio: ....switch back to base.All units should be back on base frequency.
The movie ends with showing Gretchen and little boy and his lips are not moving so he couldn't say anything else.I also have substitles....so,yeah.
