I believe it is ment to say "you are the 12th rose" take it as a compliment.

11 roses??? Maybe he got a discount! Sounds like a cheap mistake.

It was probably an accident. Maybe they just miscounted at the florist shop. Or maybe someone took one and hoped you wouldn't notice since you had so many.
