Sounds like Ladybuggg needs to LEARN how to read. Anyway, explain to your friend that you didn't read it. Did you pick it up TO read it or why DID you pick it up? Apologize for touching her diary. Then explain that you didn't even read it.

A diary is a very private thing, and even teasingly you shouldn't pick it up.
I would let your friend cool down for a day or two, then write her an email/letter (because then she can't interupt you) and tell her how sorry you are, and that it will never happen again, and everything else you feel. Do not critizise her and tell her she "over reacted". Ask her to call you to talk about it.
Best of luck

Well, what prompted you to open her diary in the first place? whatever the reason you should sit her down and try to ask her why is she overeacting and more importantly why doesn't she seem to trust you. She might of overreacted because in the past maybe someone else had picked up her diary and let out her secrets which is making her extra sensitive to this matter. Just talk it over I'm sure you guys can work things out and this might end up strengthening your friendship.

Don't read it. She values her privacy, and now you know.
