I have been feeling very stressed and it is starting to effect my body.I'm not having problems at home or at school, but my mind just feels so over- worked and stressed out.My body has also been feeling weak, and insanely uncomfortable/awkward.I take naps more often, and when I wake up I feel very sore.I'm also starting to lash out at family members without thinking about ti beforehand ,and thier reactions often add to my buisy mind's stress.
What can I do (besides anything that requires me to shove a pill down my throat) to get rid of this?

Something besides home or school must be causing your mind to stress out. The best advice I can give would be to take your mind off of stressing out and do something that is fun and that you enjoy. Once your mind stops worrying, your body will feel better too. Have fun and don't worry! :)

Take a walk enjoy the secenery Call a loved one. Read. Start writing your novel. Being 14 explalins it well. Your body is changing from a child to an adult. Your hormones are on a roller coaster. You are tired because you are growing and maturing.
Get enough sleep at night. Eat more healthy. Get a healthy hobby like jogging or basketball. Cut down on the TV.
Be a bit more patient with your family. You are in the process of becoming an individual and you won't always live at home. So..for now don't bit so hard on the hand that feeds you.

I would suggest a couple of things that have worked for me.
Try keeping a journal - it is a very powerful tool when trying to figure out why you're so stressed. Sometimes issues will surface in writing when you are not conscious of it. Even if you hate to write, try to do it.
Next, I would try yoga or meditation. Stress is a sneaky thing: it can affect your mind and your body. If you don't want to do yoga or to meditate, get a massage. That will help you a lot.

You have got to remember to care for yourself above all. Everything else can be prioritized after self.
Keep in mind that we are only one body, capable of only so much. Get enough sleep, eat healthy natural foods, stay away from alcohol (a depressant). and take at least one day a week to get out in the fresh air.....exercise relieves stress.

What you can do depends on a lot of different factors. Is the stress at work, at home, love life, school and what can you reasonably do about it. Stress usually comes from the feeling that you are trapped in a no win situation. Friends who can be trusted and or those who are caring family members, once removed like an aunt or uncle, are sometimes helpful. We often don't "see the woods" because we are so deep in the trees. If you know what the stress factors are, deal with them head on after getting all the good advice that you can from good people. The other problems may be hormonal, you don't mention age so I can't be specific, sometimes a lack of or too much of a hormone will make you sleepy, lethargic or even angry for no reason. A low thyroid will make you very very weak and tired. If you can afford it and believe in chiropractor I would recommend that as your first stop, they do not believe in pills. Lastly ,and this may sound trite but give it a try, stay away from any TV or movies dealing with violence and tragedy, go for the comedies and chick flicks where all ends happily. I grew up on feel good movies and it was often the best part of my week. Best of luck to you.

You really need to share this with your doctor. This is a very serious problem and it requires professional help. You can't just get "rid" of this. This is a complex problem with many causes and solutions. There could be many conditions such as Hypothyroidism, diabetes, depression, etc. Lots of things can cause the symptoms you are describing. Don't think you can necessarily shake this off like a cold. Exercise, diet, proper sleep, etc. are very important. Go to a doctor. I know exactly what you are going through. Do not play around with this.

...you need to just drop everything and walk the other way, after a while you can come back and happily fix up whatever mess you created
...walking away does not mean not going to school and work, i mean do what you normally do but don't take it to mind
