I have trouble at school because I am in the 'popular group'. I used to be all nerdy goody goody, and I have had to work my way up.
This year I have started cussing and stuff, and it seems so fun at school. But when I get home, and I think about it, I don't feel good about myself. I don't know what to do.

For all it's worth, at the end of the day you think about what matters the most and, If cussing bothers you, then don't do it. Cussing used to bother me too, so I just say the first letter.... but if i get really pissed off, I'll use the whole word. People then know i mean business. As in terms of the popular group stuff.... do you think those ppl are gonna be there and happy for you when you do something great or really bad. Are they gonna be there if you went to jail? Are they gonna be there if they see you struggling. Are they gonna be happy or proud of you if you were to graduate the top of your class or get a full ride scholarship? Are they gonna have your back if you get into confrontation? What do they really do for you? Sometimes it will feel that you are alone and sometimes you will be alone and that is ok. Just as long as you are doing what you gotta do, that's all that matters. You didn't need them at birth, they don't pay your bills, they don't clothe or feed you. I wish you luck...

Perhaps it's time to give up on the popular people. It is GOOD that you feel wrong about cussing. If your "friends" are leading you into bad habits like that, then it is they who need to change, not you!
Peer pressure is not a good thing. Live your life on your own terms and by what you KNOW is right! That way, your self-respect will grow tall. You know deep down that it is bad to use cuss words. There's NOTHING AT ALL wrong with being a nerd and with having manners. Even if none of your "friends" respect you - I DO, and so will all the people in your life who really matter.

This happened to me lat year sept im 13 and did not cuss plus i was not a nerd just lightly lay off till you quit!

Cussing or swearing is what stupid people do because they have a small vocabulary and a smaller brain. You don't want to be hanging with people that are impressed by cuss words they should like you for who you are and how you act. If they don't then F.U.C.K. them F.U.C.K.I.N.G. F.U.C.K.S.
