Now before the jokes start, let me explain. :D I've found that it's easier to focus on my work when I have something in my mouth, like gum. Problem is, chewing that stuff is bad for your jaw (I already have jaw problems), and I don't want to do it all day. I'm thinking like a candy or a coughdrop, except the sugar is horrible for teeth. And I hate sugar-free candies! lol. What can I put in my mouth to occupy it, so I can concentrate better?

I had the same problem! I had my tongue pierced w/an invisible so that no one knew it kept my mouth occupied and it was always there, it is very comforting to me. And like I said no body even knows. Just be careful not to run it around your teeth it's not good for them it will wear them down.

Also it doesn't hurt to have it done. And I saved a ton of money on gum & breath mints!!!

Be aware that if you have this done, it will take a couple weeks for the swelling to go down.

I'm sure you could find a sugar free candy that you like. There are so many to choose from now. Just start trying some.

You could also try eating nuts or sunflower seeds. They are good protein.

You could try sugar free breath mints or a round plastic bead, however the plastic bead could be a health hazard especially if swallowed.

Try This!!

It's really healthy for oral hygene and satisfying.
Cut them in small sections first!
It just makes people laugh and get curious when they see me rolling it around in my mouth at work! (I don't exactly look like a "woodsman" or even a "woodswoman" LOL!!) But try it anyway...I swear it helped me a lot!!!
