1-The fear - People were terrified when AIDS and the Black Plague hit.
2-Discovery -The way scientists and Dr's were baffled at first but came up with a cause of the disease.
3-The biases -A certain class of people were discriminated against in both cases..
4-The place of origin: both have arguments about the place the diseases originated.

How about the fact that there is a genetic trait that makes one immune to Black plague... that coincidentally makes one immune to HIV?
