why are so many of the questions spelled wrong?!! pet peeve of mine!!!lol

One problem is that the spell-checker seems to work only on the "banner" question, but not the additional details part. Another problem is that the spell-checker does not know a lot of words it should know (muggle, for example). Finally, as you may have guessed, a lot of people don't use it. Some, I suspect, because they are using enough non-standard English that the poor spell-checker stops at practically everything. This gets annoying, since it does not always highlight the word it is actually questioning. I've never figured out why. Also, it does not scroll down, so the word you are replacing is not always visible when it is being challenged. You have to scroll down yourself to look for it, but the spell-checker will not stay scrolled down for the next word. It's just not well designed, and so people get frustrated and stop using it.

Others just plain don't care.
