My sister is having a party with some friends, but they are little girls and boys (8-9 yrs) and I am trying to make some easy treats for the party. I would like a detailed idea for some treats that dont take too long and aren't too messy. Thanks so much. - Sam

Halloween Eyeball Cookies 40 cookies 20 min 20 min prep 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 1/2 cups peanut butter 2 cups powdered sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla 12 ounces white dipping chocolate 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips blue food coloring Cream the butter and peanut butter together. Beat in the vanilla and sugar. Chill for 1/2 hour. Roll into small balls, chill on wax paper for another 1/2 hour. In a microwave, melt the white dipping chocolate. Using two spoons dip the eyeballs into the white chocolate. Let cool on waxed paper until firm. Chilling will speed up the process. Pour a drop or two of blue food coloring into the remaining melted chocolate. Make a round iris on the eyeball, and immediatly press a miniature choc. chip in the center for a pupil, doing 5 at at time. For the bloodshot effect, dip the tiny end of a toothpick in red food colouring and squiggle the lines from the pupil outward, but not quite to the edges of the ball. These are quite tasty -- considering how creepy they are. Note: White dipping chocolate is also known as white bark.

Get tootsie roll pops, white tissue, black marker and some string. Put the white tissue over the top of the tootsie roll pop, tie at the top. then using the marker make two round eyes of a ghost and a mouth. You have ghost. They are so cute.

You can also use crushed oreo cookies and cool whip, then put some gummy worms in it for a simple treat.

Have fun!!!

Here is something... Buy a bag of the tootise roll lollipops, and get some kleenex, and some string. Tie each piece of kleenex around each lollipop, then draw a spooky face on each of them! So there you have it...Ghost Lollipops! Also, Tie a string across the room from one end to the other, but make it low enough for the children to reach it, Using round doughnuts (Tied 2 the string but space them apart) Their hands have to be tied around their back! They have to try to eat the doughnut without touching it, and who ever finishes firsr wins the game!!

Make some dirt pudding(Oreo cookies). Put it in a clean, unused flower pot. Put an artificial fall flower in the pot. Cover with crunched up Oreo cookies to look like dirt. Add gummy worms. Make it look as though the worms are crawling out of the dirt. Another thing is, cook some hot dogs on the grill. Cut the ends to look like finger nails. Cut creases in each dog. They look like fingers laying on the plate.

Try peanut butter crunchies. I came up with this recipe years ago, and it is always a hit. Melt 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of Karo syrup in a saucepan. When that is smooth, stir in 1 cup of peanut butter. When this is all nicely melted together, remove from heat. Pour a box of cereal (Special K, Cheerios, Kix, or your personal favorite) into a bowl. pour the mixture over the cereal and stir, coating all the cereal. butter your hands (for extra tastiness) form into balls on wax paper. let cool. They will love it.

You could make rice crispy treats and use orange food coloring to tint the stuff that holds them together. Then you could add some gummy worms on them. Shape them like witches hats.
