Just need some good pointers on how to scare the kids and get there candy?

All in good fun right?
First, rake a huge pile of leaves up next to the sidewalk.
Then when it is dark get in and cover yourself with the leaves.
Wait until they are right next to you.....
Spring up and YELL!
You'll scare the bejeebers outta 'em.

its a classic thing to do.First you should line your walkway with scary stuff(people popping outta the ground,stuff in the trees,spider webs,the fog that sits low at your ankles,and of course the screaming of witches and kids getting tortured.) Then you have to hang something from you door, but make it scary.Then if you have children of you own, make them put on a scary mask/clothes, and maybe have a weapon.Tell them to hide in the bushes.But make sure you have spider webs and fog around the bushes so the trick or treater's cant see them.When they ring the doorbell, they jump out and EUREKA! they are scared.Hand out the candy and a job well done!

dude i do this every year! when the kids are coming up to your house, hide behind ur car in all black and jump out and scare them. or u can pretend you r passing out candy... then when you tell them to pick... ae candy out of their bag

Don't have any candy on hand. Nothing would scare me more if I was a kid!

Wear a white mask, like a torn sheet, with ragged holes letting your eyes and mouth show. Have a chainsaw, with chain removed, revving and run at them wildly. Guaranteed to run.

hide in a bush and when the walk by jump out...that's always scared the s*** out of me!
or tell them if you don't give you their candy...something bad will happen (use your imagination on that)
