How about this?

Rose Petal Ice recipe

This is a refreshing dessert that blends the natural flavors of organic roses and almonds.

2 cups milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup organic rose petals*
1/2 cup whole, skinless almonds
3 drops natural red food coloring

* If you use roses from the garden, make sure they have not been sprayed with insecticides.

In a heavy-bottom saucepan, heat milk, sugar and rose petals (reserving a few for garnish) over moderate heat until almost boiling. Purée mixture in a blender with almonds.

Add natural food coloring and strain. Chill thoroughly and process in an ice cream maker.

Serve in chilled glasses with a few fresh petals to garnish.

It's not Italian, but, I always make an apple pie to go with spaghetti. I make spicy spaghetti. The apple pie afterwards just seems like the icing on the cake, so to speak!

hmmmm, if you want something just for you, take a banana, cut it so you get circles and put some sugar on it!!!!

If you have guests. I would suggest something more formal, but still kinda unusual, like a......banana cake!

(don't think I'm obsesed with banana, it's just that my mind is blank lol)
