It is kind of a game for 3-4 people, where each person gets 1/4 of a 2deck set. so about 27 cards each (with jokers) without looking at the cards. One person lays a card down, then the next person, and so on. When a royal card (jack, queen, king, or ace) is put down, the person whose turn is next HAS to put down a royal card in the amount of turns given. Example: Player 2 puts down a card that happens to be a king. Player 3 gets to put down three cards to see if one of them will be a royal. If he puts down a royal, then this same step moves to player 4. If player 3 doesn't put down a royal, then player 2 gets to pick up all the cards (person who gets all the cards wins). If a jack is put down, the next person gets 1 chance, queen=2, king=3, ace=4. Does anyone know what this game is called?

i used to play one similar to this called slap jacks. same rules as you just stated, but if two of the same cards ever came in a row then all players tried to slap their hand down on the pile. first one to do it gets all the cards under it. hope this helps

that is often in basic terms referred to as '5 playing cards' or 'The 5 card recreation'. different human beings have different names for it although, i visit't keep in mind what we used to call it even as i became in college (this is going to pressure me insane now btw) that is not Blackjack although, it really is a distinct recreation altogether.
