First off, the chances are your dinner will be prepared using the top burners.
Most '90's gas stoves use a glow bar system. When the 'bake' is turned on, this sends a signal to the glow bar (some people call it an ignitor). The ignitor will start to glow orange. The longer it's on, the brighter it gets until its resistance lowers enough to kick in the gas valve. Enough Greek
Simply put, turn on the 'bake' cycle to 200 (anything will do). Open the oven and look for a faint, orange glow under the bottom pan. If you don't see a glow, the ignitor is, in all probability, open and will need to be replaced.
If it does glow, but the gas doesn't ignite, replace both the gas valve and ignitor. Like the old-style Christmas tree lights, they work in series with each other. If the ignitor changes value, it usually puts a strain on the valve.
Hint: Make certain you replace the ignitor with the correct replacement.

Probably a bad thermocouple.
A thermocouple creates electricity from two dissimilar metals being heated by the pilot light(it's the little tubular thing in the middle of the pilot flame)and the current created goes to a safety mechanism, that if not energized by electricity, does NOT permit gas to flow to the main burner.
Replace it. Light the pilot light and presto. Pizza in minutes! However, unless you have an all night appliance repair parts store close by or a friend with the exact part, you're better off going to Pizza Hut.
Good luck!

The glo light was working but didn't ignite the burner, I removed the bottom of the oven( two screws in the back and it came out fine, the gas bar was black and crusty and the bottom was bent and laying on it , cleaned it with a toothbrush and bent the bottom back straight, put it back together... and ya it works like brand new! So proud of myself.

There is normally a 2nd pilot light. You have to remove the floor of the oven to get at it. It's usually just a couple of screws.
