I have to agree with Justturning,
I think they keep missing the mark. The movies are decent at best. I'm a DIE HARD X-MEN fan and the movies have been cinematic dissapointments! They are, as a whole, nothing that I am proud of and wouldn't put into my DVD or Comic collection.
The only saving grace of the franchice are Ian Mckellen and Patrick Stewert, who is really starting to show his age. :-(
What the HELL was up with the writing of the 3rd movie?? Lets kill off one of the main x-men?? Were they serious? The 3rd movie was such a hodgepodge of X-MEN stories it didn't flow correctly.
Don't get me wrong, It's a decent roller coaster ride, enjoyable while riding but, one you get off the thrill is gone!
I would really like to see a X-MEN movie that is done well! Either animated, Justice League style or close, or live action.
And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give me a Stom that looks like she just steped out Africa! Is that really too much to ask?

Geez I hope not, they totally butchered the last one. I mean I am a huge xmen fan and i was completely disappointed, I mean they killed professor X, which shouldn't have happened, and killed cyclops too, and do you know why? So the halle berry (the one who plays Storm) could get more 'face time'. Which they gave to her because she's a 'star'and more famous now than the other two. and the Pheonix was very disappointing, she barely was in it and didn't do very much. Same with archangel, he was supposed to be a main character, even from the beginning of the movie, but, he was in what? 4 shots, maybe... it's stupid. Sorry people, just venting, finally

I think the way it ended it has to have a part4. Xavier has to come back. I dont remember in the comic book if he died. Xmen 3 was a little disappointing to me. The story line was everywhere. I hope 4 is better.

The ppl who made the first three have said NO. They only wanted to do the three, but the purposely left the ending of X3 open if they want to do another at a later date. For now, they are entertaining us with the creation of two spin-off/prequel movies: Wolverine and Magneto. Both of these will show the pasts of... uh... duh? Wolverine and Magneto. ^_^
Personally, I'm hoping they decide to go back to Xmen and make another sequel.
