Get yourself a bottle of Greased Lightening (from Home Depot, Walmart), put on some gloves and wipe it down.

It's helpful in a smoker's home and should work in a non smoking one. :)

I was going to suggest Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, but I see you have tried that already....what is the door surface made of? Perhaps a tile cleaner would work.

If all of the other great tips don't work, you could try wiping it down with WD40 spray. It might work and even if it doesn't make it white, it will make the surface of your refridgerator so smooth that no new stains will stick to it.

try 3/4 water to 1/4 vinegar. use a Teflon or non scratch scrubber, scrub going with the grain not against.

If none of the suggestions you've been given works, here's what I did with my frig many years ago: I put wallpaper on it - the self-gluing kind. It worked very well & lasted for many years.

If you don't like wallpaper, perhaps the peel & stick papers would be acceptable & would work. They wash easily & would be cheerful if you choose a bright pattern.

Good luck.

Here's a simple solution-- use Clorox Pen sample. That's all it takes! I use it all the time, and it's great. You may also take a look at this site http://www.upkb.com/cloroxpen.php for product tips and details.
