sad dysfunctional family.... ! i found it quite creepy when kevin spacey went from trying to do it w/ mena suvari and then feeding her cookies and milk.... yuck! oh and the new neighbors?? the military dad freaked the heck out of me, just his face!!!! and when he kissed kevin spacey.... yuckkk!!!

I found the movie a bit disturbing and at the same time really interesting. It was so sad that he finally realised he loved his family but by then it was too late. I think that was the meaning, to be happy with what you have because you never know how quickly it can be taken away.

This is truly one of the best movies ever. It has a lot of symbolism and deep meaning. I really like it and found the acting to be phenominal. I like when Kevin Spacey is buying weed off of Wes Bentley and he sees all his cool stereo stuff and also when Annette Benning pulls in the drive thru with her lover and Kevin takes their order.

I found it weird, but it was good.
Another Kevin Spacey that I liked for the same reason is "Pay It Forward".

one of the best, most compelling movies of the last 20 years. incredible acting, especially from Spacey, a gripping, true to life story. great cinematography. excellent direction. need i say more?
