i was driving w/ one of my friends, and my dad saw his reckless driving, so he told me not to drive w' my friend nemore. I told my friend, and he said he'd be more carefull, but he didn't want meto tell his parents. i said ok cause i figured iw ouldnt want my parents to know either...but this one guy overheard us talking, and he told my friends parents! so now, my friends mom is thanking me, i haven't had the chance to speak with my friend...i feel so guilty, cause i dont want him to think that i told his mom!!!. please help me with:
1. what to say to my friend
2. how not to be guilty i guess?
3. do you think i should feel guilty?

1. Just tell him the truth.
2. You didn't actually tell her, so you are blameless.
3. No, you didn't betray your friend.

Honey don't be guilty. Well ofcorse you may have broke the rules but you have to go out and see him . That is like me telling my daughter to stay at home and learn how to read (she hates to read). So go have fun while you can. You may only get 1 chance so use it wisely.

Tell him that someone overheard you and they told on you guys you told him that you wouldn't;t tell and you didn't if he doesn't believe you he was not your friend in the 1st place and consider it a blessing in disguise and not being with a reckless driver that can put your life and others life in jeopardy
