i immigrated to canada not for the health care which is not free. they pay very high taxes for that and the provinces of alberta and ontario make you pay premiums. not only that they do not cover glasses, physical therapy and it is basically a system designed to take care of healthy people. srs and the disabled get the shaft.
to learn more go to www.medlineplus.gov they have links for the australian health system uk, and canada. canada has totally govt run. it sucks imo. lack of drs. really bad shortages and nurses. long waiting list for simple test and surgery.
the uk and aus both have a two tier system. friends tell me they can use both. they prefer the free one so as to not pay money but they say the private system is much better.

The United States is the ONLY industrialized nation on the globe that does NOT provide health coverage.
We have the most expensive health care on the globe.
We are ranked near or at the bottom on every single list such as infant mortality and average life span.
You do have to pay more in taxes to get this, but in the long run it is cheaper.

Sudan, and Spain also offer free health care. Medications in Spain are unbelievably cheap!!

None. Socialized Medicine is what you mean, but you have to pay 50-70% taxes to get it.

almost every other industrialized country has socialized health care... Switzerland is the only one that doesn't that's "western"
