You can write or call the company and tell them your situation - depending on the Tech you get will depend on if you have to pay a shipping fee for them to send you a new one.

Here is there service information: Fisher-Price "Character Brand" products, including Sesame Street, Blues Clues, and Dora the Explorer:
In the US and Canada: 888-892-6123
Monday through Friday ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Saturday
9 AM to 7 PM Eastern Time ~~~~~11 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time
6 AM to 4 PM Pacific Time ~~~~~8 AM to 2 PM Pacific Time

Edit: My experience with Fisher Price has been wonderful. I bought a motorized toy (I don't even remember the name) about 10 years ago, and after 3 years the motor went out on it. I called the company and they sent me a new motor and instructions for installing it, FREE of any charges.

That sucks. I feel for you but i researched for you and short of buying the toy again, i found nothing. I would say try removing the batteries for a toy, shutting toy off completly for a day or two then reset it and see what happens...If it is his favorite toy, it's not a lot of money to buy it again...besides i saw one for $35.00 so appartently they went down on price...good luck!!!
