Yes, they should. If American men got to see bare breasted women all the time, then we wouldn't bug out when we see a woman's cleavage like we do now. The Europeans are very liberal about toplessness (and so are some parts of America - think South Beach in Miami) and the men there have gotten used to seeing titties. By contrast, in places like Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates, where women don't even show their faces or legs, guys go nuts when they seen a girl's arm or ankle!!!

No, America is a country of over sexed people. Even with all of the diseases that are around, people still have unprotected sex.

Seeing a woman in a public topless, would only make situations worse than they already are.

It's funny, cause when you look at discovery channel and an episode about a tribes is on and the women are topless, you don't see those men running around trying to grab at the women's breasts.

It depends on which country you mean. In the United States of America, women shouldn't be allowed to go topless because breasts are over-sexualized. I grew up in America but have assimilated to Europe now. Europeans totally don't notice topless women on nude beaches. Those are just two baby-feeding body parts... nothing all that fancy or exciting! haha.

However, if you take a dozen American men and put them on a nude beach in Europe, they don't know what to do with themselves! I have seen it myself. My European fiance, on the other hand, hardly even notices. In fact, in Finland, for example, if you invite your coworkers and boss over for a visit to discuss some issue from work, this is usually conducted in a Sauna in your house with everyone nude. Nothing kinky about it... just normal social interaction and no thought is given to the fact that these people are bearing all!

Toplessness can only happen in America once a generation of men has been taught to think of breasts in a non-sexual way. That means that Hollywood, advertising and so many other cultural things will need to change before the pre-teens can be taught in this way. :)

If you are really interested in going topless, I suggest taking a summer vacation to France, Italy, Greece, or Croatia. :)

It should be allowed why not? The reason why breasts are such a big deal is that they are forbidden to be seen out in public. Remember that a couple hundred years ago it was forbidden for a woman to reveal her ankles in public My how we've developed. Clothing people was originally used as a necessary survival technique against harsh environments.

No, for the reason that even though this is a free country, and our bodies are our own to be able to do with as we wish, the problem is, that their are so many sick people out there, and the crime is such a problem, this would only add to a bad situation, and make it worse. Would you actually want your daughter out there topless amongst people with sick minds, and perverts? I think not!! We don't have enough jails now to lock up all the rapists and perverts.

Women should be allowed to go out in public in nude, topless is not sufficient.

yes. It's only fair.
It will also eliminate some of the problems people worry about. When men get used to seeing women's breasts, they will stop making a big deal about them.

No. The world already has enough ugliness, and you wouldn't be able to discriminate, right?
It wouldn't be all that untoward if the same rules applied to men.
