Any blood in the urine or seminal fluid should be checked out if it happens more than once. Sign of possible serious problems or an infection. Urinary or prostate infections are difficult to get rid of in guys, so you do need to see a urologist if you have a problem. He sees guys' equipment a lot, so no reason to be ashamed or embarrassed.

I've only known this to happen once. A friend of mine just finished with particularly rough anal sex. Afterward, there was blood in his urine. In his case it was simply a matter of an internal injury (probably tore an artery or vein in the prostate). He did not go to have it examined and had no issues thereafter.
I don't care what he did, whether you know of a nearby injury (or possible injury) that occurred before this appeared or not - you should bite the bullet and get checked out. Better a little embarrassment now, than a public humiliation later if you start bleeding and it won't stop, eh?

one of:
a minor injury to the testicles or the ducts that carry sperm to the penis,
a problem with your prostate or one of the other small glands int he vicinity
some infection or illness in the reproductive system.
an inguinal hernia which is causing some damage to the ductwork that carries sperm.
While the first may clear up quickly, there is still reason for concern that it might be more serious or an indication of an underlying problem. Time to drop the pants and get everything checked very very thoroughly by your doctor.

Semen from a mature male is usually a milky or pearly-white color. It is not uncommon to see a yellowish tint to the semen if you've abstained from ejaculation for a while. Semen colored with red streaks may signify blood. If you occasionally see a bit of blood it's not necessarily a cause for alarm, but if you see a lot of it, or if it persists, the condition should be brought to the attention of your physician. The same goes any other drastic color changes, which may indicate infection.

It could be a bladder or kidney infection. Dont muck around, go and see a doctor ASAP, as it could also be something more serious.
