Any suggestions for a not-too-expensive safari in Tanzania, mainly Arusha area? I´m going there in november.
Is it easier (and cheaper) to book down there? I´ve heard that groups require earlier booking compared to just going there and hire a guide and a cook.
Do you know any good parks that could be interesting in november?

go to Arusha. there are hundreds of operators. you can 'jump on' another group's vehicle.
do NOT take the first one that will approach you. look and listen and argue all the way.
you do not need a Guide and a cook. (but no 1 is preventing you from taking 1) near arusha you will find thetarangire park, the Serengeti and ngongoro crater.
than go back to moshi and walk in the rain forest below the mighty Kilimanjaro.
park fees are expensive for foreigners.
