Liberals don't support NAMBLA. So I don't know what you're talking about. The ACLU does not equal liberals despite what you've been brainwashed to think. The ACLU has come to the defense of right-wing figures (i.e. Rush Limbaugh & Sean Hannity) and VERY far-right wing organizations (i.e. Westboro Baptist Church) -- you only ever heard about "liberal" causes they defend because the right-wing wants you to think they're a harmful organization, which they aren't. (UPDATE -- GERRY STUDDS HAS DIED - SEE NEWSLINK BELOW) Also - do some research on Gerry Studds. I'm not saying that what he did was right or ethical - or that he should have been re-elected (it's not "liberals" fault he was re-elected - it was the Congressional district he represented who re-elected him). Also - let's clear the air on this one - he's not a "pedophile" - he had CONSENSUAL sex with a 17-year-old which WAS THE AGE OF CONSENT. There was absolutely nothing illegal about what he did - unethical? immoral? I can't argue with people who think so. But "pedophile" implies an illegal action -- and what Studds did was NOT illegal. I'm not defending his actions....simply stating something that is a fact.

Because a liberal will jump on the ban wagon of a cause without checking it out first. They refer to conservatives not knowing the issues however we are the ones that watch the debates and do our homework on the issues. NAMBLA is a group of pedophiles. If they stand for that what else do they stand for.

Many Democrats support NAMBLA, but they never say why.

Isn't NAMBLA the group that molests little boys & says that it was consentual? I agree with you in thinking it is pretty foul. I think that organization should be illegalized. Or why don't we make a group for raping little girls?

Liberals are tolerate of everything almost. We may not personally agree with something but we do support ones right to have that belief or idea and will fight to death for our constitutionally protected rights.We will however not fight to the death for that which we dont believe in or respect.
To clarify I do not support NAMBLA but I do support their right to free speech, the same as with the NAZI party and the KKK.
