started my "period last night at about 11.45pm, now it has stopped at 5pm so roughly about 20 hrs all in all, i have had bloating feeling sick, sore breats, heartburn, pulling at tummy low down about a week and half ago. just wondering if anyone had a light and short period and still been pregnant. done test but negative but think it might be too early (think i caught about 12th of this month) last months period was 7 days long. thanks for answering

I had a period the first 2 months that I was pg with my daughter, and btw she is 2 now, and very healthy

With my first pregnancy, I had a period it was about 2 days and about 3 days after that i did a test it took a while to show but was positive.
With my last (this pregnancy 4th) i had bleeding just a few hours and a week later did a test it was positive.

I think you already telling yourself that you are by saying you caught by the 12th. You could be wrong. You can never be absolutely certain by your period only. I know people who have carried full term with still being on their period. Your Period could have stopped for a number of reasons. Give it a few days or go to the doctor. Good luck.

Not personally, but it sounds like it could be implantation bleeding.

You don't say when your period is actually due. Wait until then (at least) before doing any more tests. If you are already late, wait another 2-3 days before testing again. See above website for more advice.

My friend has had her periods through two pregnancys and only found out she was pregnant at 7 and 8 months.

I had 3 full blown periods with my son when i was pregnant. That's why i didn't know i was even prego till my 4th month. So it's really nothing to worry about if it's only a little bit. Talk to your doctor if it gets really heavy,.

Yes with all three of my girls and test negative had to wait until next month with all of them but my dates where right.
