I need a quick homemade adult costume that is work-place ok. I was thinking jailbird, but I only have the black/white stripe shirt, and don't know what else to use to tie it all together. Any other ideas? I need something fun, but easy to put together.

You can always get a 'hello my name is sticker' and put whatever you want on it. My favorite is going as 'the man'.

Maybe find a ruffel skirt and go as a spanish dancer? Sometime flapper costumes are easy to put together, grab one of those long cigarette holders, wear a lot of eye make up, maybe buy some fake eyelashes, and a feather in your hair. I live in chicago, and I am not going out for halloween, if you live near me (which you may not) I can let you borrow a referee costume. As far as the oxford shoes, maybe Mary Poppins. Grab an umbrella, a long skirt, a hat and some type of business shirt maybe. Just suggestions.
