if dems had their way, there would never be another repub elected to any office......local,state,or federal....the same can be said for repubs....so what makes you guys any different than communists? after all you obviously advocate a one party system with your biased rhetoric. what gives???

Communism has nothing to do with the amount of parties involved. Many European nations have a dozen or so parties to choose from. Based on your theory, they are more democratic then us because of this. democracy is defined as the ability to elect your representatives, even if all the ones you elect are from one party.

The difference is that there really are the two plus others parties. They say lots of stuff, but in reality if one ceased to exist the other would crumble or another of the parties would step up to take its place.

Why don't you look at www.rollcall.com and study where party line votes took place,on issues like health care,minimum wage,the environment then you will get a clearer picture of the VAST differences

Communist can not say they do not like who is in charge & vote them out. Democracy is voting when you are or are not happy with leaders.
