I have two quarter horses. One is 1000lbs and the other is 1300lbs. Same height. It depends on their genetics and build. Both horses are registered so I know they are pure, but the lighter one looks like she's got a lot more Thoroughbred in her (finer looking features) and the heavier one is the standard stocky build (which I LOVE about a quarter horse) It just depends on the horse but I guess it would be anywhere from 900 to 1500 lbs for an average sized horse.

I would say 750-900lbs. But weight is hard to determine, and not as important as fitness. Your horse should have good muscle tone, and you shuold be able to feel, but not see, the ribs. Hips and shoulders should not be poking out, but rounded and have a good layer of muscle and fat on them. Using a weight tape you can estimate your horse's weight, but each horse/pony is different, and weight tapes are generally 30-60lbs off anyway.

What kind of horse? an Amercan Quarter horse, Lipazoner, or Shire Horse? What age? spring or fall even makes a big diffrence. But simplified would be Quarter horse about 800 to 1000lbs a heavy or Lipazoner 1200 to 1400lbs. Shire 2000 to 2400lbs

It depends on the breed. My Quarter Horse weighs 1600 pounds while my Appaloosa weighs only 900 pounds and they are both the same height ,so I know that height has nothing to do with it. It depends on how much you feed them and what breed the horse is.

It varies greatly from breed to breed. An arab would be like 800-900, while a thoroughbred would be like 900-1100.
If you want just a basic-- close to 1000.
