Something I always wanted to do is make a plate of small camel apples, and have one big carmel onion. Let the kids pick theirs, and the greedy kid who get the big one learns a lesson.

I made chocolate cupcakes inside a orange cupcake wrappers(it's festive for halloween) and i bought soft, chocolate frosting. then i crunched up oreos in a plastic bag with a rolling pin, and i sprinkled the crumbs over the frosting on the cakes. (it looks like dirt). finally, to give the cupcakes a freaky feel i pushed little plastic arms into each one, in the center. you can by the arms in little packs at Michaels.

make up a BIG pot full of rice krispie treats mix, and shape it into pumkins (rounded balls with a little candy corn stem on top) then use orange icing in a tube and candies to put Jack-o-Lanturn faces on them. it's fun and it's sweet, too

get a latex glove and fill it full of candy, then you can hand it out to trick-or-treaters and say it's a dismembered hand.
