I absoulutly LOVE LOVE LOVE BAND!!!!!!!!! I like both concert and marching and do fine in each!!!!! I just want other peoples input on what they like the best!!!!!!!!! I never see enough concert and marching band questions!!!!!

In my opinion, marching band is so much better... because not only are you playing music, but you get to socialize and make friends. It's not just a class like concert band, it's like a group activity and it's so effing fun!!! It's waaaaay more interactive... and plus it gets you in shape!!! :]

I was in band when I was younger. I enjoy listening to the music better. I used to live nearby a university, the marching band practiced daily by my house. I would sit outside every evening and listen to them play. Really enjoyed the concert every evening.

I love both! I was in band all through high school and college. 8 years of marching band!!!! I still play in my community band sometimes. Band rules!

ehhh.... i always felt really geeky in marching band, and i didnt really think it was that fun. Concert band was pretty good, but my ultimate favorite is jazz band ~if you havn't experienced it yet i suggest u try it out!!!
I played sax through high school, and will be in concert band next semester (as a freshman in college).

I like to watch the competitions. It's crazy cause they have to play well and be physically fit! Madison Scouts are the best.

i love both. i played percussion in high school and flute in middle school. i wish i could go back to high school so that i could still be in band
