You never NEED to wear make-up! If your 12 it is best to start taking care of your skin rather than worrying about colors. If your skin is healthy you will have a luminescent glow and not need the makeup. Then for a special evening you can put on some mascara and gloss and look stunning. If you do decide to wear makeup please check out the online tutorials on the website below and the application tips.

You shouldn't wear makeup at that young because it will dry out your face, clog your pores, and give you an oily complexion. If you REALLY want to wear make up then I'd suggest wearing light eyeshadow and maybe some colored lip gloss. Don't wear make up until you need it though.

It depends what your parents say. Some low key makeup is a lipgloss. (THere are really nice colored ones)
You could also wear some mascara; it gives you an enchanced look without you looking like you're wearing tons of make-up.
Make sure if you do wear makeup that you parents ALLOW you and that you have make-up remover 'cause that stuff builds up if you don't wash it off. (gross!)

Maybe a lipgloss and blush and powder. Nothing too heavy at this age. Maybe the regular Maybeline mascara in the green and pink package in a brown/blk. Eye shadow should be nuetral-like browns. Just remember less is more at your age.

well when i was 12 i started wearing makeup. first off it all depends on skin tone and eye color.
i have fair skin and hazel eyes that change color w/ wat im wearing. i wear tan eyeshadow and blue eyeliner and clear mascara. also wear a nude or light pink color lipgloss to make your lips stand out...
if u have brown eyes a golden shimmery color eyeshadow always looks good and subtle..
w/ green eyes go w/ a grey or white shadow it brings out the bright colors in ur eyes
and w/ blue true a light color or a natural tone. :) its great to be a girl.

Probably just some lip balm or lip gloss. It will be so weird for a girl your age to be wearing make up and stuff and you'll just attract unwanted attention in the end.

Only lip gloss - a light pink lip gloss is definitely age-appropriate for preteens.

My daughter is the same age, so I took her to the clinique counter so they could show her how to properly put make up on for her age. She wears very little and looks very natural. Most of the time she really doesn't even wear it. But most of all, have your parent's consent.

Lipgloss, eyeliner, and pefume. Thats what i wore when i wa 12. I'm 15 now. Make sure u know how to put it on and not too much. Good luck!
