Vampires cannot exist if a vampire fed on one person a day and then the vampire he created each fed on one person a day it would take about 2 years before the entire population of the planet were vampires.

I think she's talking about the people in the "vampire" subculture, not the creatures themselves.
"Vampires" are the people who believe themselves to be vampires, or who like pretending to be vampires for fun. The vampire roleplaying game, Vampire: The Masquerade is a RPG where "vampires" meet other "vampires" and roleplay.
That should be what she's talking about. I don't know where you can find vampires in GA, though, sorry.

If you're talking about roleplaying, then this doesn't apply. If you're talking about real vampires that suck blood and all, then this does.
Why would you want to meet vampires? Become the living dead (or undead) for centuries and people hate you? Forced to drink blood and turn others into vampires who will limit your blood supply, and yet the rest of the world's food supply that you would eat as a human would be unavailable.
Think about it...

I have a collection of vampire skulls from kills, both fresh and old. Oh, and as a response I HATE VAMPIRES! There is nothing that brings me greater pleasure than tearing their arms and legs off, cutting their heads off, and staking them in the slowest possible manner while forcing the head to watch.
I have no problem with exterminating them, though on a note, they are much less problem-inducing than werewolves and other lycanthropes. Why kids like them so much astounds me, if only you witnessed a vampire tearing a man's throat out and raping his girlfriend before killing her as well.
All I have to say is, find a new obsession, this one could get you killed.

There are groups of people who are willing to drink anther's blood. And in 99% of cases is done consensually with another "donor". http://groups.yahoo.com/group/real-vampires/.
If you're looking for role players. Just look online for Vampire masquerade.I'm sure you can find some fellow roleplayers in GA.
If you're looking for a real undead vampire then check the abandoned mansion or cave/mineshaft.

Why not just check the web and see if there are any vampire covens in your area. Vampires arent real but some fans have taken it to lengths unimaginable.

I hear that vampires are often found in graves in unhallowed cemetaries...or skulking around abandonded abbeys.... often they can be found on old plantations....
