A rake!

Rake it into a pile as best you can. Buy some rigid plastic garden bags and pick the leaves/cones up with those big plastic hand rake things and place into the upright bags. Easy.

I use a leaf blower, that when reversed, becomes a leaf vaccuum!
I walk around the yard and vaccuum, and the other end gos into a large plastic garbage bin,I then dump the garbage bin into a paper leaf bag, and DONE!
You can usually leaf blower/vacs at any well equipped hardware store,ranging in price from $75-$150 The vaccuum also mulches,
