I think the jury is still out on Minnesota. Johnson is a serviceable QB, but the teams they've beaten (including Seattle) range from being suspect to down right awful. We'll see how they fare against NE's line backing core, and what can you say about Brady that hasn't already been said?
Patriots 28, Vikings 17 - MVP Tom Brady

The Pats and the Vikings both have a good defense-rememeber I said good not great. They both can stop the run and wreck havoc on the frontlines so I broke the teams down by matchup.
1st, AFC East Standing 2nd, NFC North
324.8 ypg (15th) Offense 326.3 ypg (13th)
193.3 ypg (21st) Passing 210.3 ypg (15th)
131.5 ypg (6th) Rushing 116.0 ypg (11th)
299.2 ypg (12th) Defense 277.8 ypg (7th)
Won 3 Streaks Won 2
The Patriots have won five straight road games, outscoring the opposition by a lopsided 156-64 during that span. ... New England improved to 14-4 against AFC East foes on the road since 2001. ... QB Tom Brady is 29-6 in his career against the AFC East. ... Rookie Laurence Maroney's 74-yard kickoff return was the longest for the Patriots since Bethel Johnson broke off a 93-yard return for a touchdown at Cleveland
RB Chester Taylor set a franchise record with a 95-yard touchdown run in last week's 31-13 win over Seattle. The previous record was an 85-yard TD run by Michael Bennett in a November 3, 2002 game at Tampa Bay. Taylor rushed for a career-high 169 yards. ... LG Steve Hutchinson, who signed a seven-year, $49 million deal in the offseason, has made his presence felt with the Vikings. This season, Minnesota is averaging 116 rushing yards per game.
My Predictions
Pats 21
Vikes 17
MVP: Maroony RB, Pts

Despite being a MN fan, I'd have to say if they won, it would be really close, and my gut feeling is that they'd need a DEF TD or ST TD to do it. MN's not so hot against the pass (not bad, but not hot) -- Winfield lets too many connect (you can hit hard, but you're not a linebacker! deflect some balls!). Brady's been building up a connection with the WRs he was left with. However if D-Sharp is on top of his game he could mess with youngins Gabriel, Caldwell, and Jackson.
I doubt the scoring will reach much over 30 by either team, but atleast 17ish by the loosing team
MVP....
if MN wins, a MN defensive player
if NE wins, a NE offensive player

That was a great game, it looked like Minnesota was playing 12 people at times! I have to give their defense the MVP, although Taylor had some great runs too.
