Just look at the level of intelligence in those first 2 answers, why you even bothered answering the question is beyond me, at least make some kind of attempt to get the 10 points!

Aussie Rules because:
1. You can catch, punch & kick the ball (we learned this from the Poms who did the same to us in the 1700's.
2. The shorts aren't small; it's just our antipodean assets that make them look that way.
3.....and girls, the umpire's hands are telling you a lot about the goal kicker when signalling a goal!
4. We use an oval ball because it's way too easy with a round one.
5. Aussie men are used to scoring, thats why you can score 10-20 times in an afternoon...
6. ...and they get a point when they miss because we're an optimistic bunch - so why not?
7. Aussie Rules is played in quarters so there's time to buy beers and pick up.
8. Aussie Rules was invented to keep our cricketers fit - so watch out at the Ashes!

American Football....

I live in the U.K but have watched American football since i was 14 years old! My father and brothers used to watch it on channel 4 and i just got into it, i support Miami Dolphins (even though they haven't played very well for years i still love them).

The Superbowl is always on in the early hours of the morning here in the U.K and i always go to work the next day like a zombie - but it is all part of the fun.

Thanks for asking.....

I actually found that I enjoyed the Aussie football, but only seen it a couple of times, otherwise, I would prefer we give each man a ball, and we can all have a bit more peace and find something else to do on Saturdays, and something else to discuss when out for the evening with friends, gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Definitely the ones near the sidelines where the receiver has to catch it as well as keep his feet in bounds. I also like catches where the receiver just jumps higher than the defender.
