light is unseen untill it reflects off an object
yet there must be tonnes and tons of it in transit from there to here
does a light particle have weight
all those tiny weights must add up to a fair bit
energy can not be created nor destroyed
but its weight still must have some affect even if its unseen till some future time it becomes unseen

a photon must have mass as it has movement ,for it to keep on mobvvement or else what powers its momentum
a photon keeps moving even through the /our atmosphere also the speed of light remains constant wether going down with gravity or up against gravity
i know that also reveals it has no mass or there would be a difference in the models dependant on if light was traveling away or to a given gravitational affect
does gravity bend light?
is the speed of light really constant doesnt a ton of feathers yet add up to a ton?
what does an eternity of nothings weigh ,or infinite nothings weigh nothing ,should have put this in the math section ,what if a trillion photons weigh the smallest measurable unit men can measure ,light can be felt thus weighs something

Actually, the mass of a photon is zero only when it is at rest. Since a photon is never at rest, it has a "mass" represented by its energy. But no, there isn't nearly enough "travelling light" to cause the gravitational effects from dark matter. Whatever it is, it is material, not a form of energy. However, there is "dark energy" as well, which is a totally different thing -- it's what appears to be causing the expansion of the universe to accelerate over time.

I disagree light is not unseen until it reflects off an object. When you look at a light bulb you are seen light a the source. What you see when light is reflected is color. the object absorbs all wave lenghts except the one you see. different theories are that light acts as waves instead of particles in transient so that they have no mass. thus energy is not created or destroyed it is transferred form one state to another.

Light particles, called photons, do not have mass or weight. So no, light is not the unseen dark matter.

No because light is massless. The mass of a photon is identically zero.

No. We know that dark matter exists because it has mass and distorts waves that travel around and obscures waves that are behind it. Light has no mass, therefore it couldn't produce the observed effects that dark matter does.
